In our experience undereye filler is there for the duration. There is very little blood flow to this area and lymphatic flow often socks in these products. Restylane is a great product in this area. Botox/Dysport/Xeomin etc take about 4-6 days to kick in and the results peak in 2 weeks. 2 weeks is the optimal time for a touch up if needed and is recommended for accurate dosing. If you have had lines for a bit we recommend treatment (with proper follow up after the first) every 3 months until we tame those lines.
