Dr. Southard was born and raised in Tulsa, OK where he attended Union Schools until graduation in 1991. He was awarded the National Merit Scholar Honor and went to OSU, TJC, and UCO as an undergrad student majoring in Chemistry and Physiology until 1995. From 1995-1999 he attended Oklahoma University College of Dentistry in Oklahoma City and was awarded his doctorate. From 1999 he established Southard Dental and has taken over 400 hours of continuing education in General Dentistry, Implants, Sleep Medicine, Laser Dentistry, Orthodontics, and many others. Dr. Southard now works with his wife, Barbara, in a joint business often referred to as Southard Wellness where they strive to benefit their patients with the full knowledge of dentistry, med spa services, sleep medicine, medical grade skin care, and medical grade supplements.

Barbara Southard was born and raised in Tulsa, OK where her family taught her the importance of community by volunteering in various organizations and church. From 1996-2000 she attended Oklahoma University and earned a B.S. in Microbiology. From 2000-2002 she completed her BSN RN in Nursing at OU. Over the next decade, she mastered her skills as an advanced IV infusion nurse working as a case manager and participating in research for new medicines. In 2011 she married Dr. Wrany Southard and together established Southard Medspa. Barbara’s lifetime commitment to wellness, health, and fitness has been her driving passion. To look and feel your best is what she wants for all her patients. She completed her Masters in Nursing and became a Nurse Practitioner in 2018 with a specialty in Family Practice. Currently, Barbara is working with the Oklahoma Sleep Institute to bring Tulsa’s only location to her practice.
