I want a bigger implant. I’ve had a fat transfer to my breast, now I have lumps. Is this possible? What should I do?
Jan 5, 2018
I would agree with the previous answers. It is not unusual to have lumps from grafting but it is important to discern whether they are solid or cystic. An ultrasound would be best to determine. If they are cystic or lipid filled cysts than a needle aspiration with fix the issue. If they are from fat necrosis and scar then they may improve with massage or your surgeon may recommend excision. It is very important to have your mammograms done to discern scar from…

Imaging
Feb 23, 2015
I would see a board certified plastic surgeon in consultation prior to surgery and not just the day before. It would also help you to see a plastic surgeon who has imaging in their practice. One such device is called Vectra. This is a 3D imager that allows the surgeon the ability to place the implant in your 3D image and show you what it would look like preoperatively. This helps chose a size, profile and determine whether a lift is necessary. Good luck.
Am I crazy to not want a lift? And do these look big enough to be 470 cc’s?
Snoopy deformity.
Feb 23, 2015
It is difficult to determine if the implants will settle. Are they dual plane, submuscular or subglandular? I would recommend wearing a band on top of the upper most part of the implant to try and push the implants down. This may improve but if not than you may consider a lift.
Downsize & change profile, good candidate?
Implant exchange.
Feb 18, 2015
There appears to be multiple issues going on. I agree the implant size and profile is to large, downsizing and using moderate plus implants are a good idea. It looks like the implant is sub glandular not sub muscular dual plane. I would switch to silicone and place submuscularly, changing the pocket. Also you should discuss fat grafting the sternal border and possibly consider anatomic/shaped textured implants. Good luck. Make sure you are seeing a board…
I’m having several issues with my breast implants and need advice on how to handle it with my PS
smooth round saline implants, malposition
Feb 18, 2015
It is difficult to determine exactly what is going on. Smooth round saline implants defiantly can bottom out if the fold was lowered. It appears you are very thin and don’t have a lot of soft tissue coverage. It would also be helpful to know how far out from the original operation you are. There are options to address these issues and I would talk to your board certified plastic surgeon. If they are not board certified plastic surgeon then I would seek…
Will I Still Be Able to Do Yoga and All the Movements After my BA?
Yoga Poses
Aug 22, 2013
You certainly should be able to get back to your yoga practices it will just take time. Usually 6 weeks before full return. It will also depend on whether you are having subglandular or subpectoral implants. Speak with your board certified plastic surgeon.
Tubular Breast Correction Bad?
Tubular breast
Jun 27, 2013
This is obviously a challenge for most plastic surgeons as you can see by the responses. It is important to understand that this may improve with time. It would also be helpful to know what the time between photos. It also appears that you could have a capsular contracture on the left. I would follow up with your surgeon.
I’m 20 Years Old and Am Unsure if the Saline Implants I Get Will Be the Best Think for Me? (phot
One year doesn’t make for a lifetime.
Feb 8, 2013
Waiting one year to be able to have the option for silicone implants is not a huge issue especially when you are looking at your entire life. By waiting the year you are eligible for silicone and this is an elective operation. The placement of the implant has mostly to do with the amount of soft tissue in the upper region of your breasts. See a board certified plastic surgeon to go over all these options.
I Got Breast Augmentation About 3 Weeks Ago. Fear of Infection?
postoperative concerns.
Feb 8, 2013
It is always best to be seen by your original surgeon and discuss concerns you might be having about your postoperative course. There can be differences in healing between sides, this is not uncommon. It is important that your surgeon knows what is going on and if there is a change they especially need to know.
Are My Breast Implants Bottoming Out?
Bottoming Out
Feb 8, 2013
It is never the same as seeing the patient in person but based on these pictures it appears the implant is a bit low. The rippling issue has more to due with the implant and lack of soft tissue. It also appears that you have high profile implants and maybe moderate plus would have been a better options. Return to your surgeon and have them address your concerns. You may also want a true second opinion.
Do I Need a Lift with Augmentation?
Lift
Jan 30, 2013
It is difficult based on the pictures alone, but all you may need is a lift. Seek consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon. There are techniques that allow for repositioning of some of the glandular tissue during the lift that may obviate the need for an implant.
I Have Had Breast Implants for 15 Years; Experiencing a “Sloshing” When I RuN?
Implant integrity
Jan 30, 2013
It is difficult without a full exam to determine the nature of your concerns. You should see a board certified plastic surgeon where you live now to be evaluated. Sometimes tests such as ultrasound or MRI are need to evaluate the implants so don’t be surprised if they recommend one or both of these studies. It would also help to know if they are saline, silicone or dual chamber implants. Good luck.
Is 550 Cc Too Big for Me?
Implant size
Jan 30, 2013
It is important to note that many women have a misconception about the size of the implant in regards to what that translates into there own body. The implant size in one patient can look very different in another patient based on their body habitus. It is important to seek consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine which implant is best suited to your body to achieve your goals. In addition it may be helpful to see a plastic surgeon who has imaging…
Transition Lines from a Facelift?
Timing
Jan 24, 2013
It would be beneficial to know how long ago you had your surgery and pictures as well. That being said I would certainly see the surgeon who performed the initial surgery to ask there advice. It is important that the surgeon be a board certified plastic surgeon.
Brow and Face Lift 2 Weeks Ago; Have Constant Ringing in Ears?
Ringing
Jan 24, 2013
I have not heard of this issue after facelift surgery but it is plausible that this could be the cause. I would certainly see an ENT surgeon to evaluate you.
