Unfortunately I am afraid that this wound will take quite some time to heal completely and most likely the resulting scar will be rather noticeable. If you have enough tissue left a revision surgery should be able to substantially shorten your recovery. You may consider discussing this with your surgeon who should be able to advise you regarding that problem

You have the very common problem of an enlarged earring hole. This is most likely due to wearing earrings which were too heavy for you/your ears. To choose a size is one of the most important decisions to be made in the consultation for a breast augmentation. This can be done well using 3 D imaging or with sizers, and I personally usually do l not make that decision for my patient as it remains a question of personal taste. Once the patient has decided her size an experienced plastic surgeon then will suggest the implant type that will best meet your needs.

I like the fact that you seem to have good skin elasticity, In view of that I personally would like to try just liposuction, or one of its variations such as ultrasound assisted ( Vaser), laserassisted ...., - I have seen wonderful results with good skin-retraction with that procedure alone. I doubt that a short scar Brachioplasty will lead to a satisfactory result in your case, but this is somewhat difficult to say with certainty from just a photo. Long-scar Brachioplasties nearly always have a better result but with the trade-off of a permanent scar. How much that scar is visible depends on your wound-healing and as importantly on the skill of your Plastic Surgeon.

Yes, Brachioplasty removes fat but as well as excess skin. If you have good skintone you might get away with liposuction only, but most likely a brachioplasty will give you a better result with the tradeoff of a scar, the quality of which depends both on your woundhealing as well as the skills of your Plastic Surgeon

Significant residual swelling after 8 weeks is unlikely. In view of that I believe that your plastic surgeon remained on the rather safe side with very conservative tissue resection. That is certainly better than over-resection and I recommend that you see your Plastic Surgeon again, show him your arms and share your concerns with him. He probably will suggest an enhancement.

It appears that there are no significant problems at this time - and I would suggest to ask your Plastic Surgeon for his recommendations for scar care. This might include massage and some scar creams/coatings and or Vit E.

I am near certain that this suture, which looks completely normal was placed intentionally by your plastic surgeon. I suggest to leave it alone until you see him/her again - in addition to that I would suggest that you do not remove the Steri-Strips placed over the wound as they protect it and result in a better scar.

In my judgement brachioplasty would be your best choice and should give you a good result. However the resulting scar is a trade-of you have to consider, particularly if the scar extends into your forearm. Unfortunately I have not seen convincingly good results from other treatment modalities.

The time off recommended after this procedure depends strongly on the type of work you do and as importantly how well the procedure was performed. I typically let my patients return to light work after two to 3 days ( ie after the weekend), however exposure to sun should be avoided for the first few weeks by all means and then application of sunblock for at least 6 months.

At this stage, I would just give it some time to see how it develops. If the deformity persists you may discuss it with your plastic Surgeon, who should be able to correct this for you , likely with some liposuction and /or an additional limited excision of tissue.
