It has always been my teaching that following Botox injections, you shouldn’t rub the area, exercise vigorously, or partake in any horizontal activities for at least 3-4 hours following injection. Certain areas are more prone to undesirable effects, should the botox spread, such as when treating the glabellar region. I personally tell my patients they should remain upright for at least 3-4 hours and resume vigorous exercise the next day. I don’t worry too much…
