Liposuction On Legs Before And After Photos
View successful before & after photos of leg liposuction from real patients.
Common places that laser liposuction treats are in areas where fat is hard to eliminate and most notably visible. These places are often the abdominal and upper body.
While it might seem that most people are born with the same physical body structure, there will always be some differences and these differences are magnified as we grow, age, and do things to our bodies.
As we accumulate fat, beyond the large areas we are all aware of, the legs are actually very good at fattening up with the rest of the body. Most popular areas are the thighs but think about the more strange areas where people request liposuction surgery. These are micro liposuction procedures to treat some odd areas of the body such as the ankle, calf, and knee.
Thigh Liposuction
Liposuction to the thigh is actually a very common practice. This isn’t odd if you’ve ever heard the saying “this food is going straight to my thighs” indicating that the thighs are notorious for fat accumulation. Thigh liposuction is typically broken down into three areas. They are the anterior thighs, inner thighs, and outer thighs.
Being among the larger areas of the body, prices for liposuction of the thigh are up there on the scale. The average cost for any of the three area of the thighs range from $1,700 to $5,000.
Of course this assumes the treatment in pairs since it makes no sense to liposuction one thigh and not the other. But we can agree that there are weird people, or scenarios that cause them to require unusual treatments.
Ankle Liposuction
One particular area of the body that might be strange to liposuction is the ankle. Since it is a small and relatively delicate area, laser liposuction is an effective solution for anyone who thinks they might have “fat ankles”, whatever that might mean to the individual.
The common description of the problem is defined in the term cankles. This is when the area just above the ankle bone where the calf meets the ankle doesn’t trim down as sharply as desired. The result is cankles and is the primary driver behind the ankle liposuction surgery. Before being eligible for ankle liposuction, which can cost between $4,000 and $8,000, it must be determined that the cause of cankles is an accumulation of fatty tissue in the area and not a bone deformity.
Calf Liposuction
Both the ankle and the calves are mostly bone and muscle tissue, liposuction to this lower part of the body can be risky. However, since the introduction of laser liposuction has improved the precision and delicacy of the surgery it is now more widely available and safer than ever.
Calf liposuction is simply to slim down the calves and produce a better proportion to the rest of the body. It is not for people who are overweight but who are disproportionate. The procedure is only effective against the fatty tissue of the area and not for those with muscular calves.
There are two ways calf liposuction is done. The first is a spot reduction which means removing fat from select areas to give the calf more definition and shape. Usually some amount of fat is removed just below the knee on the inside of the calf and down along the inner calf to the ankle.
The other way is to do an overall reduction of the calves. The second method will result in a relatively long recovery period of up to several months.
Knee Liposuction
For people who are shy about wearing shorts or skirts because of a little leg line at the knee, liposuction might be something to consider. Knee liposuction can remove some excess fat that causes the fold line in the skin behind and around the knee. In this procedure, the shape of the thigh and its relation to the knee and calf area is an important consideration for the surgeon to determine the best way to redefine the shape around the knee.
The procedure is focused on the back, or inside, of the knee since the front and top is mostly bone. Usually, the procedure treats the little bulge that might appear on some people when the leg is bent. The procedure is pretty straightforward and recovery could take a week or more.
Liposuction Legs
The legs of a woman play a bigger role in her physical beauty and attractiveness than most people give credit to. It is also a very tough area to control whereas other places like the abdomen can be exercised to build muscle and dieting to lose fat. Leg liposuction helps achieve more desired shapely legs than any type of strategy simply because of how hard it can be to shape the legs.
There is the risk that too much exercise will cause a buildup of muscles that might cause it to look overly bulky. Most people are simply born with slightly difference alignments in the fatty composition of their legs so it is never perfectly proportionate not matter what they try.
Using laser assisted liposuction and the smaller equipment associated with the laser assisted technique makes it possible to remove small amounts of fat without putting the skin and other tissue at too much risk. The area below the knee has very small amounts of fat relative to other parts of the body so small equipment and removing a little fat at a time is the only option.
