It is always difficult to work 2nd time in a previously treated area due to amount of scarring & fibrosis caused by previous surgery. However, sometimes it is unavoidable and we do get away with correcting small imperfections. Skin quality obviously plays a big part in the decision making. Hi Christina,
Your surgeon should be able to guide you better on this as he knows exactly how much work will be involved which will determine the amount of surgical trauma to your body and in turn your recovery. However, in my experience 6 months is plenty of time for everything to settle down to see the results and you should be able to enjoy your holidays.

Vaserlipo or any other type of liposuction can be carried out in the calves area to reduce the bulk but one has to first establish suitability in terms of actual amount of excessive fat that can be removed. A lot of the time is is simply musculo-skeletal bulk for which vaserlipo will not work. It is also a very difficult area to treat without causing visible lumps so make sure you go to a surgeon who is well experienced in this area.

Hi,
In my experience & opinion, main role of garments is effective drainage of the treated area to expedite the recovery & reduce bruising.I don’t think it should affect the final results although it may take slightly longer to see the end result in the absence of correct garments.
