It is ok to beging wearing underwire or push up bras as soon as 4 to 6 weeks post op. Check with your PS to make sure you are fully healed and the implants are in the expected position. There are some manufacturers who specifically make bras for augmented breasts. You may find these to fit better and be more comfortable than standard bras. Good luck shopping!

The implant size and location under the muscle (dual plane) you have planned with your PS should give you the look you desire. However, being that you are slim with little overlying breast tissue, you may want to consider using silicone implants. 2 Weeks After Breast Reduction and my Incisions Are Bleeding and Oozing?

Oozing and some slight bleeding are not uncommon following breast reduction and are usually the sign of some mild breakdown along the wound. This is most common directly underneath the breast where three parts of skin brought together at the T point of the incision. However, at two weeks post op, if the incision is beginning to “split” this may be a problem that needs to be addressed. It would be best to contact your surgeon ASAP so that they may see you and figure out what is going on.
