I absolutely love using filler in the lateral brow and temples.
It does help give a brow lift, but the effect of filler in what I call the "sunglasses" area is very dramatic, making the patient appear much younger and less tired.

Patients can lie down, exercise, go to sleep or anything they want after Botox treatments. The only thing they should avoid after an injection is direct massage to the area treated for 48 hours.

The duration of the redness depends on the settings used and passes made. I use the deep Fx alone for hypertrophic scars and fine lines from volume loss. 1-2 treatments. If the patient has photo damage (discoloration and/or wrinkles) they need active or total Fx, not Deep Fx alone.

Botox is very effective for lines in the forehead and can require very few units to get the Desired effect therefore the cost can be very inexpensive. Filler, on the other hand, would be much more expensive and does not eradicate the lines that bother you wig animation and normally doesn't completely eradicate them at rest either.

We used the Ulthera device for 3 months and treated 50 patients. Three people had short term mild tightening which disappeared by month 3. No one else saw any results. It was really painful for most patients and takes at least an hour to perform. We used the highest settings on everyone. Very disappointed with this device.

It is hard to tell you exactly what would work for your scars since I can't see them, but I think the fractionated CO2 laser ie Total Fx would be an effective laser treatment for these type of scars. I have used it before to treat the stitch marks in scars and it has worked well.
