It is reasonable for you to have concern, even about a 2 mm. difference between the eyes’ appearance.  Late enophthalmos can definitely be corrected, despite  what you may have read.  The ideal correction is with the patient’s own bone (usually harvested from a sliver of the outer cranium).  It could be placed via a conjunctival incision.  This outpatient procedure takes about one hour under a general anesthetic.
