Voluma is like any other dermal filler in that patients may experience bruising or swelling because it is usually injected with a needle. But because this product is not hydrophylic (doesn't pull in any water) patients don't experience swelling from the product.

Based on your photos, you do appear to be a potential candidate for chin liposuction. Neck and chin lipo procedures can significantly improve facial contour. With age, the skin loses elasticity. This should be evaluated in person by the provider of your choice. It may be helpful for you to see someone who performs the Precision Tx treatment because it allows for direct application of laser energy to the skin, therefore providing better skin tightening.

I would not advise receiving an Ultherapy treatment directly over the implant, but the treatment could be done on areas of the cheek where the implant is not directly placed. It could also be performed on other areas such as the neck or forehead. In general, Ultherapy is not performed directly on the jaw, in part because the reflection of the heat is painful, but also because there are important nerves that we try not to treat directly over.

Hello Molly - I use both the Fraxel Re:Pair and Ultherapy lasers in my practice. My patients wait about a month between the two treatments in order for the skin to reepithelialize. You will likely have a bit of swelling and redness, and this will allow time for that to heal as well.

Yes, all or part of your new tattoo can be removed. When you treat the new tattoo, the original black tattoo underneath will also be removed. The new PicoSure laser works well on blue ink. PicoSure generally takes about 4 treatments spaced 3-4 weeks apart.
