Can Hyaluronic Acid be used for forehead wrinkles and crows feet if Botox doesn’t work?
Forehead wrinkles
Dec 2, 2014
You may want to try the other neuromodulators (Dysport and or Xeomin). I have found that patients who do not respond to one may respond to the others. You may also consider hyaluronic acid fillers, I recommend Belotero, once you have tried the other neuromodulators. I prefer for patients to do neuromodulator then filler, if needed especially for the forehead and eye areas. Keep in mind, however, that fillers will not soften your ability to contract your forehead or around the eyes. I…
What could cause my left eye looking lazy after Dysport and Juvederm?
Eyelid droop
Sep 1, 2014
Dysport, Botox, and Xeomin are neuromodulators that can achieve amazing results when done properly. Unfortunately, one of the risks of having any of the neuromodulators like Dysport placed around the eyes is called eyelid ptosis or eyelid droop. This side effect typically happens as a result of either improperly placed neuromodulator or too much neuromodulator. Similar droop can happen to the eyebrows for the same reasons. Iopidine eyedrops can be used to alleviate the eyelid ptosis, but time…
Would liposuction work for me? I can’t seem to get rid of my belly
Liposuction Candidate
Jul 22, 2014
Based on your photos, you appear to be a good candidate for liposuction, assuming that you are otherwise in good health. It is best, however, to be evaluated in person. From your photos you seem to be fit and I think it is great that you have already incorporated exercise into your routine. As you may know, liposuction is best utilized as a body sculpting procedure and not as a weight loss procedure. Finding the right surgeon to perform your procedure can be tricky. The best way to…

Facial Veins
May 19, 2014
Facial veins are best treated with vascular specific lasers. My favorite laser for this procedure is Cutera’s Excel V. There are settings on this laser specifically designed for patients with your skin type. I have performed this procedure on several patients with olive skin and they have all done well. This treatment is very tolerable and has minimal to no down time. Some patients require topical numbing cream, but most do not. Afterwards, patients are slightly pink and may have some…

BOTOX
May 14, 2014
Response to any neuromodulator whether BOTOX@, DYSPORT@, or XEOMIN@ may be affected by many variables like: authenticity of product, dilution, age (if expired), injection technique, and individual patient response. In my experience, 15 units to treat the glabella area or the “11s” is a starting number I often use for females. Typically women receiving this amount are either happy or prefer a little more neuromodulator for less movement. I personally, like a little movement, so tend to…
