Understanding that recovery instructions can vary from patient to patient, in general, I recommend no vigorous activity, no heavy lifting or nothing that you would strain at performing for approximately one week. Small children may climb up into your lap and you may stand with them as long as you do not strain. After the first week if it hurts don’t do it, if it’s just sore then be cautious for the next two weeks. After three weeks you are approximately 90% healed.

Patients at or near ideal body weight and two are living healthy lifestyles, can be the best candidates for body contouring. It is a situation where it is more of a matter of sculpting than weight management. Most major cities have several options regarding care from a surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Find one to whom you can talk. One that will sit and listen to your concerns. Your issue could be as simple as a cyst from an absorbable suture. Regardless, an experienced, compassionate plastic surgeon should be able to help you.

Your observation that your are still saggy could only be answered with a better knowledge of where you started. Your preop photos does not reveal the nipple level. Either of those procedures could be done under local anesthesia. However, either procedure alone could require meeting or exceeding the safe local anesthetic dose. A light, general anesthetic provides highly valued airway control and eliminates the risk of exceeding the recommended local anesthetic maximum dose.
