I always work in conjunction with your rheumatologist. Generally 1-2 weeks for most cosmetic surgeons. There is some research that says you can stay on it without causing any complications with surgery. However it is new research and many surgeons would be hesitant to do that when we are doing a big surgery like liposuction and a tummy tuck.

A repeat mri is not likely to show anything additional. Once you have imaging for an issue unless there is a change or it has been many years repeating the study doesn't show anything new.
Better would be to talk with a surgeon that does diastasis repair or abdominal wall reconstruction.
Things to consider additionally would be inflammation of the cartilage, pinched nerve etc.
Left upper quadrant pain would be a very uncommon symptom of diastasis directly. More likely some form of chronic...

I agree with your surgeon. PDO sutures can take 9 months to dissolve fully. Give surgery a year for those sites. Masssging during that time may help. In terms of removal if needed, that's not an easy surgery and likely the benefits to not outweigh the risks.

Hello, back pain is a common symptom of core muscle instability. That instability can be caused by diastasis recti. Repairing the diastasis and giving you back core stability can significantly improve back pain. As a side note I do not believe the CO2 infiltration from the hysterectomy would have been sufficient to reverse your physical therapy results.

I agree with the surgeon that it is likely a diastasis recti. Mostly located in the lower abdomen. I don't think you need a full tummy tuck but doing a modified mini tummy tuck would possibly fix almost everything. Additional the scar for that is a little larger than a c-section.
I used to do a lot of abdominal wall reconstruction. Repairing the diastasis laparoscopically is possible but often times leaves a visible ridge down the center of your belly. I think the benefits of the mini tuck...
