Do I have ptosis, tuberous or saggy breast?
In person evaluation will be best.
Mar 29, 2018
Hi Sadiew22,
from your pictures I am not too worried about you needing a tuberous breast reconstruction. Although your breasts are on the smaller side, they are not constricted the way a tuberous breast is. I can see the areas that you describe are bothering you, and think that you would probably be happy with a modest breast augmentation. With your breast shape (it isn't ptotic, just low) you will most likely improve the shape and nipple position with an implant and not need...
Is it normal for my eye to still be droopy after a ptosis surgery, even though it's been years since I g
Possible revision needed
Mar 29, 2018
It sounds like you may have had a type of ptosis that has been with you since birth, or a deficiency in the muscle of your eyelid. It is possible to revise the type of surgery you had, or to do another type of procedure to help improve your lid position. I would recommend that you seek out a board certified plastic surgeon with experience with eyelid reconstruction, or a board certified oculoplastic surgeon for this type of consultation.
Best of luck!

"Indent" across the breast after ideal saline implant 350cc under fascia
Best to Follow Up
Mar 29, 2018
I hope things are settling a little more for you! It looks like the breast tissue over the top of the implant may be a bit tight. If this has not resolved by now, I would suggest that you see your surgeon back and discuss your options.
Best,

Should I try sclerotherapy again on the ankle area, or would laser treatment work better on this area of
Maintenance of results
Mar 29, 2018
Over time you may notice that some more spider veins return. They are best approached by maintenance treatments with Asclera (or another type of sclerotherapy.) It sounds like you had excellent results, and I would recommend you follow up with the provider who did your first treatment.
V-beam bruising and possible blistering?
Looks like normal response
Jan 20, 2018
The Vbeam laser settings used can produce this response if they are on the higher side. Your doctor may be treating you aggressively to help achieve lasting results. The bruising and swelling should fade over 7-10 days, but I would also recommend that you contact your provider and ensure they are satisfied with your progress. They may also want to adjust the settings if you have an additional treatment later.
How to get rid of dark circles under the eye for men?
Combination treatments may be best
Jan 20, 2018
I also have the same thing (and have had it since I was a child!)
The things that have worked best for me are a combination of treatments: lasers to tighten the skin and encourage collagen growth, and appropriate fillers (I prefer Belotero for myself and my patients.) You may also benefit from a blepharoplasty that has no exterior scars (a transconjunctival approach.) Meeting with an experienced plastic surgeon with the appropriate board certification will be the...
I have had two left eye ptosis operations both of which were failures. I need some assistance with the b
A second opinion
Dec 1, 2017
I would consider getting a second opinion, it is possible you need a revision surgery. If you do undergo a revision, consider a surgeon who will do your procedure while you are awake and able to demonstrate a solid repair that is symmetric before leaving the operating room.
Wide, prominent chin and square jawline. What can be done to soften and feminize my chin and jawline? (p
Try Botox!
Dec 1, 2017
I have used Botox on my own jaw for the past year and absolutely love the results. I suffered from the same widened jaw and now my face is much more harmonious and balanced. The treatment reduces the size of the muscle, and is easy, fast, and very effective. Best to you!
I'm a 19 year old male and I think I may have gynecomastia -- do I need surgery?
Consider a consultation
Dec 1, 2017
It's hard to tell from your photographs exactly how much of the excess tissue is adipose (fat cells) and how much is glandular breast tissue. A physician will be able to examine you and feel the difference. If there is glandular tissue, sometimes it can be removed with liposuction, sometimes it requires and incision. If it is adipose tissue only, liposuction can improve the contour. If things haven't changed much since you were 13, it is unlikely you will see improvement without surgery....
How to achieve a more feminine esthetic, what procedure is suggested?
Jawline softening
Dec 1, 2017
You might consider Botox for your masseter muscles to soften the squareness of your jawline. It's something I even do on myself and have been really pleased with the improved shape of my jaw.
Hard painful lump in breast 4 months after breast reduction. Is this common?
Lumps after breast reduction
Jul 13, 2017
Diagnosis of the cause would be best made by the doctor who performed your surgery. It may be a lump of scar tissue from the old infection, or it may be a specific type of hardening of some of the fat in the breasts, called fat necrosis, that is common after reduction surgery. You'll want to see your surgeon to make sure that it is being followed appropriately.
Does silicone poison your body? Burst implant.
Ruptured implants should be removed
Jul 13, 2017
Any time an implant is ruptured it should be removed. You don't have to be flat afterwards though! Your surgeon can help you decide if you should replace your old implant with a new implant, or with tissue from your own body (one of your back muscles or abdominal fat.)
22. Life long dry skin struggle. Desperate to increase confidence in hand appearance. Fillers? Surgery?
Hand Rejuvenation
Feb 20, 2017
I would recommend that you seek care with a board certified Dermatologist or Plastic Surgeon. There may be environmental factors affecting your skin that the physician can help you modify. There may also be some products available only through a physician that can help improve your skin. Fillers will not treat the dryness. They are primarily to help "plump up" older hands that have lost their fat. Botox is used to treat sweaty palms. Laser can help with pigment and texture. It sounds like a...
