Volbella 0.55cc is a very small amount of filler. At best, you will see increased hydration and smoothing of your lips but not much will change in regards to volume. An experienced injector will know how to place the filler so that your lips are enhanced but not a different shape.

Botox works on the muscle under the skin to stop it from scrunching which creates wrinkles. It is a great place to start if you are just beginning cosmetic injections. Of course, a combination of products is the only way to completely address all the signs of aging which are loss of collagen in the skin, loss of volume and bone structure. Based on your pic, it looks like Botox would definitely improve most of your concerns.

Your smile lines are caused by 2 things: loss of volume in your mid-face fat pads, causing the skin to droop down and loss of collagen in the dermis causing a crease to form in the skin. I would approach your case from both angles. I would recommend a mid-face filler such as Lyft or Voluma (1-2 syringes) and Juvederm Vollure or Restalyne Defyne for your creases. If you wanted to just do one, from the picture, I would do the Defyne in the creases and invest in the midface...

This is a great question! Your crease is caused by large, strong muscles in the glabella region. Botox, Dysport or Jeuveau are the safest options to weaken these muscles over time. Based on your picture (and not an in-person consult which is the best!), it appears that consistent treatment of your glabella would decrease this significantly.
