Biography: Megan completed a Bachelor of Bio-Medical Science degree at the University of Guelph and then went on to graduate from York University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is a current member of the College of Nurses of Ontario. Prior to aesthetic nursing, Megan has worked as a Labour and Delivery RN in Kitchener and throughout northern BC in addition to working with a women’s crisis intervention team. Biography: Karolina Stepien, NP-PHC Nurse Practitioner Injector, graduated from Western University in 2007 and began her career in a local acute care hospital where she worked in varied medical/surgical departments for seven years. She independently engaged in varied career development opportunities and student mentorships during this time. In 2015 she went back to Western University and completed her Masters of Nursing and Primary Healthcare Nurse Practitioner Certificate. Karolina further enhanced her scope of practice by training through Allergan Canada in the realm of medical aesthetics where she aids clients in looking and feeling their best through cosmetic injection.

Biography: Kirstin graduated from the Registered Nursing Program at St. Clair College, and is registered with the Colleges of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). Aesthetic medicine has always been an interest for Kirstin, and after having the privilege of working in long-term care, and she pursued cosmetic nursing. She loves to put her patients first and provide the upmost optimal care.

Position: Licensed Practical Nurse

Biography: Krista graduated from Conestoga College and has been a licensed RPN since 2015. She began her career as a community nurse where her compassion for others and technical skillset provided a wide range of quality patient care, and eventually specialized in geriatric and palliative nursing in Long Term Care. Krista entered medical aesthetics to pursue her passion for skincare, and completed training at APT Medical Aesthetics and training with Allegan for the safe and ethical treatment with Botox and dermal fillers for cosmetic use. Krista joined the Skin Vitality Team with the goal to provide patients the opportunity to look and feel their best in a safe and welcoming environment.

Position: Licensed Practical Nurse

Biography: Michelle graduated from the Practical Nursing program at Conestoga College with Dean’s Honors. She has been working in the cosmetic industry since 2007 as a certified cosmetician and make-up artist. Michelle’s passion for the industry and her desire to be the “artist” behind the syringe are what motivated her to become a cosmetic nurse injector. She started her nursing career as a wound care/ clinic nurse and then enrolled in a cosmetic injectables course to become a certified nurse injector. Working in an industry that is constantly evolving, she feels strongly that it is her responsibility to be proficient in techniques and to stay informed on current practices, ensuring the safety of her clients. She accomplishes this by participating in continuing education/conferences whenever she can. Biography: Julie graduated from the RPN program at Fleming College in 2007 and later went on to further her education. She graduated from Bachelor of Nursing program at Griffith University (Queensland, Australia) in 2009. Julie has a strong passion in Cosmetic Medicine. She has worked alongside a world renowned Cosmetic Surgeon in Australia, teaching her the most up to date injection techniques and continues to advance her knowledge in new and upcoming facial rejuvenation advances.
