How long after having a tummy tuck can I start doing sit ups/crunches?
Time to return to core exercises after tummy tuck

For my patients, I usually tell them to wait 6 weeks until a return to core musculature exercises (crunches/sit ups, yoga, etc) and to begin very slowly when they do. If there is any pain at all in the midline of the tummy then back off of those exercises and give yourself a few more weeks to heal. Wearing a gently compressive support garment over the tummy as you return to exercising can help somewhat as well. Hope you’re feeling well and are pleased with your results!
