My biggest complaint: sagging jowls and marionette lines. Should I get HALO or BBL?
BBL or Halo
Sep 22, 2023
A BBL will target the abnormal reds and browns of the skin and help preserve the overall quality of the skin. A Halo targets the collagen in the dermis and helps build more new collagen. This causes an improvement in the texture of the skin and some skin "tightening". However, I doubt a Halo will improve your jowls or marionettes much. I would recommend you consider some filler or for even more improvement, a minilift.

Halo Laser and Broadband Light Laser - are these lasers safe for Asian skin?
Halo and BBL are safe
Aug 14, 2023
Both Halo and BBL, when performed by experienced providers, are safe for Asian skin. Depending on the severity of your skin issues, the improvement can be quite dramatic. Patients that have less dramatic problems will have less dramatic results, but both promote healthier younger looking skin.

Is laser the neck answer? Halo for crepey skin and vertical wrinkles?
Halo
Dec 5, 2022
Halo would be a great laser to try. It is safe to use off the face and can improve overall texture and fine lines.

What to do for under eye laxity?
Lower eye laxity
Sep 29, 2022
The best way to treat lower eyelid laxity is to simply remove the excess skin. If someone has a very small amount of excess skin, a laser can tighten it and make it look quite good. When someone has enough excess skin that they really need a pinch to remove the excess, then a laser really can't do much, you need to remove the skin. This is typically done in the office using local anesthetic. The scar us a few millimeters below the lash line and heals incredibly well. The sutures are removed...
What is the best treatment for sun spots and unwanted freckles?
Best treatment for "spots"
Jul 7, 2022
The BBL from Sciton is, in my opinion, the best treatment for "spots" that there is. It's a form of Intense Pulsed Light but delivers the light energy in a much more effective manner which gets results with fewer treatments, saving a ton of money. Getting at least two of these treatments a year has also been shown to slow the appearance of aging. See someone with a lot of experience, it matters.
