Restylane Defyne or Refyne for marionette lines?
Restylane Defyne or Refyne?
Jul 17, 2018
Thanks for your question. Both Restylane Defyne and Refyne or designed to be utilized in areas of high animation. The flexibility of these products make them ideal for areas like the marionette lines. In general Restylane Defyne is a little thicker product and is made for deeper lines like the marionette lines where Refyne is thinner for very fine lines like perioral rhytids or to be layed over the top of Defyne so in many patient a combination of the two products is ideal. Each of the…
Is it normal to have red streaks and red blotches 16 days post aggressive Fraxel CO2 laser?
Fraxel recovery
May 13, 2018
Thanks for your question. What you are experiencing looks to be post inflammatory hyperpigmentation which is not uncommon. If you had an aggressive treatment sometimes this can last for a couple weeks especially depending on skin type. The utilization of a topical steroid can help calm things down but doesn’t immediately take it away sometimes all that is needed is a little time. I would recommmend you see your provider if you are still experiencing problems. Good luck.
I absolutely hate my side profile especially my jawline/neck/chin.
Kybella
Apr 29, 2018
Thanks for your question. As you are a younger individual from the pictures presented it appears you would be a good candidate for Kybella. In my experience patients such as you are happy with the results from Kybella and in many cases 2 treatments would show substantial improvement but each individual is different some requiring more than 2 treatments. While surgical intervention would likely be possible as well I think that you are a good candidate for Kybella.
When can I expect to see firat signs of hair regrowth after telogen effluvium?
Telogen effluvium
Apr 29, 2018
Thanks for your question. Every patient is unique in there course of telogen effluvium. For most the intial stressor/illness is about 4-6 months prior to the shed that takes place with telogen effluvium as the telogen phase of the hair cycle is typically this long. As far how long it takes to complete the shed I would say for most it is 3-4 months before they see a decrease in the amount of shed but can be even longer to appreciate the regrowth although most likely it starts sooner than…
