Silicone implant 30 years ago – seems like it has moved up

Silicone implants that have been in place that long are nearly always ruptured. The shape change you are experiencing is due to gel leak. Imaging studies like mammography, ultrasound, or MRI can confirm this. Removal with capsulectomy, with or without replacement (and possibly a lift), would be recommended once the diagnosis is made. Most insurances cover the capsulectomy procedure.
