I typically use smooth round implants. Shaped implants tend to be textured and there is evidence that textured implants can be associated with other disease (ie ALCL). As far as the profile (moderate versus high) keep in mind that the higher the profile and the larger the implant the more pocket stretch and tissue thinning that occurs.
