Particularly with laser lipo, you need more time to see the results. This is far too early to make a decision. Go back and talk to your surgeon, but expect that it will be some time before you see the end result. Many people are actually more swollen right after and are actually bigger than preop.

There are things that can be done. They may be more involved and expensive, but there are things that can be done. I suggest that you see another surgeon. They should be board certified in plastic surgery or facial plastic surgery. You also need to be a good candidate. No smoking and good health habits.

A silicone breast implant would be unlikely to leak like that. It is more likely that you have a seroma or an infected breast implant. You need to be seen by your surgeon immediately. If your surgeon won’t see you then you have a bad surgeon and you should find someone else. This is something for which I would come in on the weekend or after hours.

We don’t use the term board eligible anymore. If your surgeon completed an accredited plastic surgery residency program and just hasn’t had the opportunity to complete the board exam process, I would say to go ahead. The only issue I would have would be if someone has been advertising themselves as board eligible for years.

I don’t think you can judge a clinic based on them not wanting to answer questions like what kind of sutures they use and if they intubate patients. Those are pretty specific questions. The person answering the questions is likely not the physician. If you wish to ask the physician, you will need to make an appointment for a consultation. Residency programs are a great way to go. However, I would rethink the not breastfeeding. You want to do what is right for the baby.There are several residency programs in New York. Montefiore has one. That should be close for you. Remember, you will need to do your follow up with them and follow all their instructions appropriately.

I think you are correct. You can try some warm compresses. I would recommend calling the nurse in your surgeon’s office. The nurse can be of great help.

That should be a good implant for you. Sometimes you get swelling between the breasts that makes the projection look quite a bit smaller than it actually is. Raise your concern with your physician, but I would recommend waiting to see your final result. From what I can tell, it looks like a very nice augmentation.

You will need to get visual fields testing done to see if it would be covered. The red itchy spot would have nothing to do with coverage. This is one of the more inexpensive procedures in plastic surgery. I would find a good board certified surgeon in your area and get a consultation. I believe that Dr. Morgan Norris is in the Houston area. I would highly recommend him.

A brava bra is a suction apparatus that you wear for several hours (10?) a day and can get about a cup size increase in your breasts. It was popular for a while. I don’t know if you can still get them. It is sometimes used in combination with fat grafting to get better take.

I used to live in Mansfield many years ago. I still think Jones makes the best potato chip.There are some cutaneous nerves on the lateral aspect of the chest. Sometimes they can get pressure from the implant that will give you this type of sensation. If you had saline implants and have scalloping of the implant AND there is an issue with a cutaneous nerve being tented across the lateral pocket, you can get a painful condition. I have seen one case of this. I can’t tell you what is happening…

It is possible to do breast fat transfer. In general, I do not recommend requesting a specific technique. This is particularly true of fat grafting. The literature hasn’t really shown that one method of collecting and washing the fat is superior to another. Find a surgeon you like. Look at their post op pictures. Listen to them when they give you advice based on your history and physical exam.

You have a perfectly normal breasts and nothing for which you should be embarrassed. If you want to change the appearance of your breasts you should see a board certified plastic surgeon.
