Is 2 weeks off work enough time to recovery from a Mini arm lift?
Mini-Arm Lift Downtime
Jan 27, 2019
If you are just having a mini arm lift, then 2 weeks off of work should be sufficient time off. But that also depends upon the type of work you do. If your job requires extensive use of you arms, then it may be longer. True healing time for a procedure like this should be in the range of 4-6 weeks for intense, strenuous activity.
Good luck. Hope this helps.
Will tear trough filler be suitable for me? What kind of results can I expect?
Tear trough filler
Sep 4, 2017
I think you will have a great result. Filler in the tear trough and cheeks will enhance the beauty that's already there. There are several techniques different practitioners employ to decrease the risk of bruising but none of them are without risk. Most importantly, schedule a consultation with trusted physician.
Was told that my neck was extra skin and did not have any fat there.
Extra neck skin
Aug 23, 2017
Without an examination, it would be hard to determine if there is extra submental (under the chin) fat. If there is, Kybella would be a great option for you. But I do not think it would give you the neck lift you are trying to ultimately achieve. Thermitight would be a great option for you. But it is invasive in the fact that a probe has to be placed under the skin. The small punctuate scars would be hidden and the downtime is minimal to none. Hope this helps.
Thermitight RF on upper arms, left them deformed. How can I fix it?
Thermitight arm deformity
Aug 23, 2017
Sorry to hear you didn't achieve the results you were looking for. It would definitely help to see what your arms looked like before the procedure. If they have looked like this for a year, then unfortunately, I would not expect them to improve. It might be a complication of the procedure, or it could have been that you were not a good candidate from the start based upon skin laxity.
Based upon pictures, but an examination would be the ultimate determinate, you would probably need...
Swelling of inner eyelids after Botox and persistent headache, what do I do?
Headache and swelling after botox
Aug 22, 2017
Sorry to hear about your issue. Typically, botox is a relatively painless procedure with minimal complications. But not always. There are two main sensory nerves near the areas you had injected. IT is not unreasonable to conceive that the needle could have hit the nerve itself making the injection more painful than normal. Also, and I doubt this is the cause, the botox could have been mixed inadvertently with sterile water making the injection more painful. You should use ibuprofen for pain,...
Eyelid ptosis after Botox, will it change in 3 weeks time?
Botox related ptosis
Aug 22, 2017
Sorry to hear about your experience. Even in the most experience of hands, lid ptosis can occur. You're doing exactly what you should by using the iopidine (apraclonidine ophthalmic) drops. Those drops will definitely help improve the ptotic look, but not 100%. Unfortunately, botox does last about 3-4 months. And the only other treatment is time. It's an inconvenience, but all you can do is wait. Good luck.
Can Botox lift hooded/drooping eyelids and eyebrows?
Upper eyelid hooding
Aug 22, 2017
This is a problem that affects many men and women. While botox can can an eyebrow and even a subtle upper lid lift, it will not correct hooding. While I can completely understand that you are hesitant about surgery, an upper lid blepharoplasty would offer you a great cosmetic result with minimal pain or downtime.
What are the pros and cons to getting Botox in the masseter?
Bottom in masseter
Aug 15, 2017
Great question. Like everything, there are potential for negative side effects. There is usually no swelling associated with botox injections in the masseter muscle unless you develop a bruise. As far as negative side effects, the main ones are asymmetric smile if the botox is placed too anteriorly. It could potentially weaken the other facial muscles causing asymmetry. It will last as long as the botox lasts which is usually around 3-4 months. Also, as the muscle atrophies and...
