Just to add another opinion here, I always have my patients stop smoking eight weeks prior to a breast reduction because I do not want to have any issues with blood supply to the nipple and areola. I agree that you should mention this to your doctor as he or she may potentially wish to postpone the surgery in order to lessen your risk of complications. Honesty is the best policy in surgery too!

Liposuction of the bulge above your tummy tuck scar is a good idea. It may actually help with getting some skin laxity in the area. Mainly though, it will smooth the contour above and below the scar. I would take your doctor’s advice!
