misleading. For starters, bra manufacturers produce drastically different
bra sizes with the same size labels, ie Maidenform vs. Victoria’s Secret.
Furthermore, it is a common misconception that a certain cc volume of
breast implant directly translates to a cup size change. Implant size
selection is most safely done when based on the individual woman’s breast and
chest wall measurements, in combination…

are rather common up to one month post-op, and slightly longer especially for
those who selected implant size beyond what their chest wall can naturally
accommodate. Post-op swelling also takes about one month to fully resolve.
Patients in my practice are released back to full physical activity, including high
impact exercises and even weight lifting, after two months. Sleeping on
your back and elevated at…

I’m so sorry you’ve had so many problems with your breast surgeries.
It’s definitely not the norm. It’s hard to give an educated opinion

having had…

tissue and skin to reduce volume and mass of very large breasts.
This is done as a medically necessary procedure when a woman’s breast size
causes significant back pain, shoulder indentation, and/or rashes/wounds/fungal
infection underneath and between the breasts. Breast reduction does
include a lift, aka repositioning of the nipples higher to where they “should”
be. If the breasts are not large enough and/or have symptoms…

usually have patients wait 2-3 months for things to settle prior to returning
to the OR to replace expanders with permanent implants.

technique, implant position, implant size, and each patient’s pain tolerance.
In general, most patients feel well enough to return to non labor intensive
jobs by 2 weeks after surgery. Most swelling resolves by about one
month. Patients can resume normal level of activity/exercise
by two months.
