Does drinking coffee or caffeine drinks have any long term effects on fillers under the eyes?
Coffee and under eye filler
Jul 24, 2019
Hi! Thanks for your question! There has not been any scientific evidence of coffee or caffeine specifically interfering with filler. However, most likely, a hyaluronic acid filler (Juvederm, Restylane, Versa, etc.) was placed under your eye. This type of filler draws in water and therefore, it could be possible that if you are dehydrated, the area treated with filler does not look as “plump” as normal.
Botox doesn’t take vertical lines between my eyes away. Can I use a filler?
Botox and Filler for in between brows
Jul 24, 2019
Thank you for you question. Repeated use of neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport, Jeuveau) can help to soften those lines and prevent them from getting any deeper. If the lines are still present after receiving botox/dysport/jeuveau, I would opt for other treatments like microneedling or a resurfacing laser. Filler can be placed in that area but it is more dangerous as the likelihood for injecting intravascularly and causing necrosis (death) of the tissue…
