Biography: Ashley McFarland, WHNP-BC, MSN, RN
Ashley, a Murfreesboro native, graduated from Vanderbilt in 2001 with a Masters in Nursing. She began her career working as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care and transitioned into a full-time aesthetic nurse and skin care specialist in 2010.

Ashley is married to Shane and they have 3 boys – Eli, Luke and Drew. Her loves include traveling, reading, Burn Boot Camp and anything related to skin care and aesthetics.

Blair Akers, RN, BSN has been a resident of Murfreesboro since 1997. She graduated from MTSU School of Nursing in 2006. Blair began her nursing career at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in the NICU where she worked for 10 years. Aesthetic medicine became a passion for her thanks to Ashley McFarland. Blair joined Ashley at Ashley McFarland Aesthetics in 2017, and it was a positive and exciting professional decision. Blair continually expands her knowledge base and skill sets by attending aesthetic specific trainings.

Blair’s Must Have Procedure:

Anything involving the use of PRP, such as our vampire facial.

Fun Fact: Blair is married to her high school sweetheart, Chuck Akers, and they have two beautiful children, Layne and Nori. Blair enjoys watching her children’s sporting events and loves college baseball. She was also a collegiate athlete herself!

Biography: Courtney Damesworth
Courtney was born in California and raised in the South Florida. After migrating to Tennessee, Courtney attended MTSU where she focused on health education. Upon graduating, Courtney took her skill set to Nashville where she worked in plastic and cosmetic surgery. It was there that she grew a passion for the diverse field of aesthetics. Courtney is married to her husband, Ryan. With any spare time, Courtney can be found packing to travel someplace new.

Courtney’s Must Have Procedure:

Botox, as she is a firm believer in preventative skin care. Botox has also helped to aid in keeping her very expressive & animated faces at bay.

Biography: Kim Maddox
Kim has lived in Murfreesboro, TN, since 1992 and graduated from MTSU with a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. As a licensed Certified Public Accountant, Kim has over 20 years of experience ranging from corporate to public accounting and small business accounting. She is married to her husband Derrick and together have two sons Carter and Jake.
